Jay Underwood graduated with his masters degree in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado in 1992. Mr. Underwood holds a certificate in Clinical Audiology from the American Speech and Hearing Association. He has seen many changes in the world of hearing care and hearing aids over the last 24 years. Mr. Underwood employs highly skilled and experienced hearing care professionals and front office personnel to provide First Coast Hearing Clinic, Inc. patients with the highest quality hearing experience possible.
After graduating with his doctorate in audiology, Dr. Coo relocated to St. Augustine to work at First Coast Hearing. In his time with First Coast Hearing, his passion for providing better hearing to his patients’ lives has driven him to partner with Las Palmas, The Windsor, and recently Brookdale Senior Living Facilities, bringing the services of First Coast Hearing to his patients living in these communities.
Dr. Mitchell is a native of Maine, where she completed her undergraduate degree in communication sciences and disorders. She obtained her doctorate in audiology from Towson University in 2008, and she has been working in private practice ever since.
Audiology Technician and Patient Care Coordinator
Since joining the practice Evan has obtained her Audiology Technician License and is currently studying to become a Hearing Instrument Specialist. Evan loves it when patients tell her she doesn’t need to talk so loud after they have been fit with new technology.
Patient Care Coordinator
Dayna's prior experience includes being a wellness coordinator for adults with developmental disabilities as well as running scheduling for group homes of adults and children with disabilities. She enjoys talking to our patients in both the St. Augustine and Palm Coast locations, and she wants to make sure they receive the best care we can offer.
